At New Life Independent Baptist Church, we stand firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Here are a few of our core beliefs:
1. The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
2. The Trinity – We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
3. The Virgin Birth – We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, as prophesied in Scripture.
4. The Substitutionary Death of Christ – We believe that Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for sinners, taking the punishment we deserved.
5. The Resurrection – We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day, securing victory over death and the grave.
6. The Fall of Man – We believe that all men are born with a sinful nature as a result of the fall, and that man is utterly incapable of saving himself.
7. The Atonement – We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross is the only atonement for sin.
8. Salvation – We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. A person must come to Christ with a repentant heart, under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, trusting fully in Him as the only way to the Father.
